Grandstand Bunkroom Accommodation

If you are looking for basic budget accommodation for your school class, youth group or workgroup, accommodation is available at the museum in the old Akaroa Grandstand.

Sleeping for 18 is provided in two bunk rooms. There are three sets of three bunks per room. Please note that the top bunks are quite high. The Grandstand includes showers, toilets, a small kitchen/dining room, and plenty of space around the building.

Accommodation Costs

• Grandstand Bunkroom – $20 per adult per night, $15 per child per night 12 years and under.
• Tent site – $13 per adult per night. $8 per child 12 years and under
• Guests must bring their own bedding and pillow.

Those staying in the Grandstand or tenting in the Arena may visit the museum at the Concession rate of $10 per adult. Children 12 years and under free.
