Grandstand Bunkroom Accommodation

If you are looking for basic budget accommodation for your school class, youth group or workgroup, accommodation is available at the museum in the old Akaroa Grandstand.

Sleeping for 18 is provided in two bunk rooms. There are three sets of three bunks per room. Please note that the top bunks are quite high. The Grandstand includes showers, toilets, a small kitchen/dining room, and plenty of space around the building.

The cost is $20 per person per night for the Grandstand bunkroom or $13 per adult for a tent site ($13 per extra adult and $6.50 per child).  Guests must bring their own bedding and pillow.

Those staying in the Grandstand or tenting in the Arena may visit the museum at the Concession rate of $10 per adult. Children under 13 free.
