Share Your Passion - Become a Volunteer
The museum is supported by a huge volunteer effort. Our volunteers contribute to individual projects, the care of particular collections, and the organisation and running of Waitangi Day. They include local residents, representatives of Ngāti Huikai, holiday homeowners, visitors, and members of the Kāhui Korowai (advisory committee). Many of them have dedicated years of their lives to supporting the museum through events, projects, and working bees.
