The Chris Pryor Print Shop was officially opened on Waitangi Day 2005. It houses a large range of printing equipment and related items that were collected by printing enthusiast and longtime supporter of the museum, Chris Pryor. Chris regularly demonstrated printing equipment on Waitangi Days from the 1980s to the 2000s. He personally oversaw and largely funded the construction of the print shop which is named for him. The print shop continues to come alive on Waitangi Day when special items printed in-house are available for purchase by visitors.
