The Colonial Hall contains a suite of small exhibitions dedicated to the early period of Pākehā occupation of Okains Bay and wider Banks Peninsula. Here you will see displays covering whaling, domestic life, war, and the Little Akaloa Store. Many items in this exhibition space have personal connections with the early pioneering families of Okains.
