6 February 2020
Planning is underway for our annual Waitangi Day commemorations to be held on 6 February 2020. This year, alongside our usual range of entertainment and stalls, we are calling for expressions of interests from artisans and craftspeople who would like to run short workshops throughout the day. Workshops planned so far include mask-making with Donna Demente and weaving a putiputi (flax flower) with our Master weavers. If you are keen to be involved as a volunteer, stallholder, entertainer, or workshop facilitator please contact the museum. Check back here and follow us on facebook for updates as we get closer to the day.
Calling all stallholders!
Please read our information sheet for stallholders here. If you are interested in booking a stall space for 2020, you can download our application form here.
